On our backlit acrylic signs, your logo is UV printed onto 6mm acrylic and the light glows out from behind it onto the wall, creating a soft halo around the edge. Both. Perspex is a well-known brand name for acrylic sheet, so people use the words for the same material. We use 6mm acrylic in clear, frosted (matte) or black.
